Plug it in and find the driver! NEW
by: Lee - Bedroom-Recording.com

If your mixer has a USB port, you should be able to go directly to a computer. Keep in mind that you will need a driver to run it - most times the driver is available from the manufacturer's website. Search for your mixer's model number and "driver".

Once you install the driver, you can go into your recording program and find the mixer wherever the input devices are listed. Look at your mixer's documentation to find out how many channels it supports, and how to operate it. You can maybe find a downloadable manual on the manufacturer's website too.
