I'm not sure myself if the Roland 2480 offers that capability - the best way to tell is to look at the connections available on the machine and see if a USB or FireWire port is installed.

If there is, then it should be a matter of plugging it into your computer, and installing drivers. If not, then we have tougher situation.

In that case, you will either have to keep burning CDs, or use an external hard drive to transfer files. There are some instructions as to that here: http://www.rolandvs2480.net/Exporting-wav-files-via-hard-drive.htm.
